Nathan is a member of the POV Chorus, whose appearances include the Herald in Verdi's Otello and the bass in the School Touring production of Mary's Wedding. He performs the role of Fioello in POV's 2016 production of Rossini's The Barber of Seville.

With a repertoire spanning several centuries, from renaissance polyphony to modern opera, the Canadian-American baritone is often lauded for his vocal versatility. With a diverse musical background including a degree in trumpet and seven years as a church Music Director, Nathan brings a wealth of experience and musicianship to his craft.

Other recent operatic roles include Marco in Gianni Schicchi, and Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte Nathan also makes his role debut as Marcello in Puccini's La bohème as part of the 2016 NUOVA Opera and Music Theatre Festival in Edmonton. On the concert stage, Nathan appears with the Victoria Baroque Players and as part of The Bach Institute, a workshop at Emmanuel Music, Boston.

Performance highlights of the 2014-15 season included Bach's Cantata 140, Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, with the Victoria Baroque Players under David Stratkauskas; Handel`s Italian Cantata for solo bass, Cuopre tal volta il cielo, HWV 98, with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra led by Marc Destrubé; the role of Christus in Bach's St. John Passion with the Victoria Philharmonic Choir under Peter Butterfield; the role of Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas in a staged production with the Victoria Conservatory of Music Opera Studio; and the role of Dandini in Rossini's La Cenerentola conducted by Simone Lutti, produced by the Accademea Europa dell' Opera in Lucca, Italy. As a chorister, Nathan performed Thomas Tallis' 40-voice-part Spem in alium with the Tallis Scholars under Peter Philips in New York; a program featuring Pizetti's Requiem with Calgary's professional choir, Luminous Voices, under Timothy Shantz; and portions of Rachmaninoff's Vespers with Edmonton`s award-winning Chronos Vocal Ensemble under Jordan Van Biert.

Active as an oratorio singer, Nathan has appeared locally as a soloist with the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, Victoria Baroque Players, Victoria Choral Society, and the Victoria Philharmonic Choir. Nathan has presented recitals in Canada and the United States, and has sung professionally in choirs in North America and continental Europe, including with Luminous Voices (Calgary, AB), Raincoast Voices (Victoria, BC), and the Purcell Choir (Budapest, Hungary). A veteran of youth-oriented choral projects, Nathan has sung several times with the National Youth Choir of Canada and World Youth Choir, as well as the Carnegie Hall Chamber Choir (New York, NY), JSB Ensemble (Stuttgart, Germany), and Academia Internacional Teatro del Lago (Chile).
