Pacific Opera Victoria is seeking a full-time box office associate to join its collaborative, high-performance team.
The candidate will enjoy being an essential contact person with patrons and donors, stewarding the customer experience and developing productive relationships. The successful candidate should demonstrate impeccable skills in working with the public, including a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to listen to concerns and resolve problems creatively.
The candidate will work with the marketing director and box office manager, providing timely response and customer feedback, and participating in strategy development and implementation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in subscription and single ticket campaigns, front of house management, and event assistance.

Pacific Opera Victoria Chorus is pleased to announce chorus and comprimario role auditions for the 2018/19 season, which will include Beethoven's Fidelio, Verdi's La traviata, and Kálmán's Countess Maritza.
The auditions will take place in Wingate Studio at the Baumann Centre (925 Balmoral Rd) on the following dates:

Candidates should prepare two contrasting selections that demonstrate secure musicianship and an aptitude for performance. Although not a requirement, we strongly encourage applicants to memorize their selections and prepare at least one in a language other than English. A pianist will be provided, or you may bring your own.

Members of the POV Chorus receive an honorarium per production, two complimentary opening night tickets to each of the three mainstage productions, invitations to special events and receptions, and exclusive access to POV's Artist Development Program (a curriculum of stagecraft workshops, vocal clinics, individual coachings, and masterclasses with visiting artists).
