Take the Opera Bus to POV's Sunday Matinée!
Pacific Opera Victoria invites those from out of town to take our Opera Bus to the Sunday Matinée! We run two Opera Buses: one on the Saanich Peninsula and a second Opera Bus for our up-island patrons. Leave the driving to the professionals and relax with other opera lovers. During the trip, you can watch a DVD of Principal Coach Robert Holliston's pre-performance lecture!
The Opera Bus will arrive at the Royal Theatre around 2:00 pm in time for the 2:30 pm performance.

Saanich Peninsula Opera Bus
For opera lovers on the Saanich Peninsula and the Islands, we offer three convenient Opera Bus stops.
- Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Departure is at 12:30 pm. (Bus will wait for the ferry arrival.)
- Mary Winspear Centre (Sidney). Departure is at 1:00 pm
- St. Mary's Church (Saanich). Departure is at 1:20 pm
Return tickets are $25 per person per opera plus the cost of your performance ticket.

Up-Island Opera Bus
The Up-Island Opera Bus starts in Nanaimo with stops in Ladysmith, Duncan, and Mill Bay.
- Nanaimo (North Town Centre, corner of Rutherford Road and the Island Hwy). Park at the Galaxy Theatre. Departure is at 11:50 am
- Ladysmith (Location to be determined). Departure is at 12:15 pm
- Duncan (Island Savings Centre, 2687 James Street near Hwy 1). Departure is at 12:45 pm
- Mill Bay (Mill Bay Centre). Park at at Island Savings. Departure is at 1:00 pm
You will arrive at the Royal Theatre in time for the performance, which begins at 2:30.
