Erica Warder makes her Pacific Opera Victoria debut as Barbarina in the 2014 production of The Marriage of Figaro
After four years at Queen's University in Kingston, Erica earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music in 2008. She then went on to earn an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto.
Operatic roles include Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro with Northern Arizona University's summer opera program in Fidenza, Italy; La Fée in Cendrillon with the Glenn Gould School of Music; Oberto in Alcina with Opera Nuova; Aurore in Massenet's Le Portrait de Manon at the Muskoka Opera Festival; and Zerlina in Capital City Opera’s production of Don Giovanni .
Erica has performed with the International Symphony Orchestra of Sarnia and Port Huron and with the North York Concert Orchestra as winner of the NYCO Mozart Vocal Competition. She is a 2012 Laureate of Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques du Canada, and travelled to Germany, Austria and France with the organization for an audition tour in 2012.
Originally from Petrolia, Ontario, Erica works and resides in Waterloo and studies privately with her teacher Stephanie Bogle and coach Brahm Goldhamer in Toronto.
