Gino Quilico makes his Pacific Opera Victoria debut in the role of Simon Doucet in Les Feluettes.
Gino has performed with the world's major opera companies, including the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, the Royal Opera House, Berlin Staatsoper, Vienna Staatsoper, Bayerische Staatsoper, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Colon, and La Fenice.
He has released over 20 recordings, including Les Troyens (Decca), which earned him a Grammy. His critically acclaimed solo recital recording Le Secret (Koch International) firmly established him in the classical recording industry. His recording Noel went Gold.
He has worked with such distinguished conductors as Seiji Ozawa, Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, Riccardo Chailly, James Levine, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Michel Plasson and Georges Prêtre.
Recent and upcoming highlights include Les Feluettes (Opéra de Montréal in May 2016, Edmonton Opera in October 2017) and Le Marquis de la Force in Dialogues des carmélites (Opéra de Montréal).
