Marilyn Arsenault made her POV debut in 2005 as Clotilda in Norma and returned to play Chocholka in Janacek's The Cunning Little Vixen. In 2009 she appears as Papagena in POV's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute.

Marilyn is a graduate of McGill University. After completing a Bachelor of Music degree with High Distinction in voice performance she began graduate studies in vocal performance at l'Université de Montréal.

She took part in several professional productions with the Kingston Summer Theatre, most notably in the title role of Anne of Green Gables.

Her operatic roles include Jenny in Kurt Weill's Down in the Valley with Northern Opera Theatre and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte with Opera McGill. She has appeared as a soloist in Handel's Messiah with the Telemann Ensemble, as well as Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt with the OSM. She was a soloist with the Victoria Choral Society in the Bach Magnificat and Mozart's Vesperae Solennes de Confessore. Upcoming engagements include a solo performance in the Victoria Choral Society's May 2009 presentation of Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor.
