Pacific Opera Victoria is looking for an energetic, self-directed individual to be part of a small, high-performance, collaborative team reporting to the Development Manager.
The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Management Team, administrative staff, and volunteers. This position is responsible for administrative and organizational support for the implementation of all fundraising strategies; annual direct mail and telemarketing campaigns, fundraising and donor events, sponsorship benefits fulfillment, and managing project and reporting timelines. The Development Coordinator develops and maintains professional relationships with donors, sponsors, grantors, suppliers and volunteers.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong communication, organizational and technology skills. A passion for the arts and professional fundraising is a definite asset. Also valuable is your involvement with a professional organization such as the Association of Fundraising Professionals and an interest in pursuing a CFRE designation.
