CHORUS AUDITIONS
Pacific Opera Victoria is conducting Chorus Auditions in Victoria for its 2013|2014 Season.
- Saturday, April 27, 1:00pm to 4:00pm
- Tuesday, May 14, 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Candidates should prepare two contrasting selections to demonstrate secure musicianship and an aptitude for musical performance. One selection will be chosen to audition. An accompanist will be present, or you may provide your own.
The 2013|14 Season will showcase Chorus in productions of Verdi's Falstaff, Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and comprimario roles in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos.

- SOUTH PACIFIC: 32 Chorus Roles (Fall 2013)
- ARIADNE AUF NAXOS: Comprimario Roles (Winter 2014)
- THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO: 16 Chorus Roles (Spring 2014)

Pacific Opera Victoria was incorporated in 1980, and has earned a reputation for fostering the careers of Canadian artists, presenting a unique blend of repertoire, building original sets for all productions, and developing working partnerships with other arts organizations. Pacific Opera Victoria is a member of Opera.ca and operates under the aegis of Canadian Actors' Equity Association.
